Who is The Love Philosopher?
My name is Mark Yansen. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with the burning desire to really know God and find answers to the ultimate questions of life. Such questions include:
- Where did we come from?
- Why are we here?
- What is God?
- What happens after death?
- Is there a deeper purpose to life?
Despite studying the Bible and Qur’an for years, there were so many things I couldn’t accept with blind faith as they were illogical and contradictory. Something deep within me compelled me to keep searching for the truth.
Then, at the age of nineteen, my life changed forever.
The divine encounter
I experienced a profound spiritual awakening through a direct encounter with the living God. But this was not the God of the Bible or Qur’an, but something deeper and more profound — I connected with Source energy and saw the highest truth so clearly. This encounter shattered all the concepts I’d previously had about God and showed me that most of what religions have been teaching was wrong.
Yet, because I was unable to fully comprehend the Divine Encounter I had experienced, I decided to devote the rest of my life to trying to understand that experience and help others have the same experience, so they too could spiritually awaken.
Over the next forty years, I immersed myself in the study of the world’s religions, studied and taught theology, Biblical studies and world religions at various schools, colleges and universities. I also studied philosophy, science, psychology, meditation, yoga, spirituality, ancient wisdom traditions, and the teachings of the world’s greatest sages and mystics.
Not only did I study, but I prayed, I meditated and practiced what I had discovered. I also experimented and learnt through trial and error, and eventually all my questions were answered and I fulfilled my objective: to discover the highest truth that could help humanity awaken. This is what I now present as The Love Philosophy.
Today, after more than four decades of seeking, studying, and direct spiritual exploration, I am sharing the discoveries that have transformed my own life.
